My Personal Philosophy: Facing challenges and persevering, being an individual; this will lead me on the right path. Live each day to its fullest; there's no way of knowing if today could be my last.

Pride and dignity control us; looking out for our best interest
and keeping us on the right path
Never settle for the path of least resistance, take the path less traveled by
the path led them to its destined end and died beneath their feet
Persevering frees us of these binding shackles, shining light on the ideal path
The shackles, therefore, which shall not be knocked off at the conclusion of this war,
Will remain on us long will be made heavier and heavier, till our rights shall revive or expire in a convulsion
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference

You shall no longer take things at second or third hand,
nor look through the eyes of the dead, nor feed on the spectres in books,
you shall not look through my eyes either, nor take things from me,
you shall listen to all sides and filter them from your self

A man should learn to detect and watch that gleam of light which flashes across
his mind from within, more than the lustre of the firmament of bards and sages

Why should not we have a poetry and philosophy of insight and not of tradition,
and a relgion by revelation to us, and not the history of theirs?
Why should we grope among the dry bones of the past,

or put the living generation into masquerade out of its faded wardrobe?
Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation; be yourself, be an individual.

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Living might mean taking chances but they're worth taking
So live, that when thy summons comes to join the innumerable caravan which moves
to that mysterious realm where each shall take his chamber in the silent halls of death,
Thou go not, like the quarry-slave at night, scourged by his dungeon;
but, sustain'd and soothed by an unfaltering trust, approach thy grave,
Like one who wraps the drapery of his couch about him, and lies down to pleasent dreams.

Challenge yourself. Take some risks in your life. Every second counts 'cause there's no second try So live like you'll never live it twice, 'cause you can't rewind a moment in this life.

Making your mark on the world is hard. If it were easy, everybody would do it. But it's not. It takes patience, it takes commitment, and it comes with plenty of failure along the way. The real test is not whether you avoid this failure, because you won't. it's whether you let it harden or shame you into inaction, or whether you learn from it; whether you choose to persevere.
